Looking for a domestic plumber in the t heath area who can take a look at my mum's bathroom sink. Water won't drain away (plug and sinkhole unblocker used to no effect) can't get to the pipework as the last plumber a few years ago masticked the pedestal to the floor!

Inbox me if you can take a look at it. Many thanks

This stuff works well. But is extremely dangerous if you go wrong/don't follow instructions.

DO NOT COME INTO CONTACT WITH THIS LIQUID!. It is acid, it burns instantly. Have lots of ventilation. Keep other chemicals away from it, ESPECIALLY BLEACH.

If in doubt about using it, don't use it! Seek advice.

It will almost certainly clear the blockage though.

Hi Michaela, have you got your sink sorted if not the best product on the market is called "one shot" all the plumbers use it, it's not cheep but it's awesome! B&Q or any trade centre will sell it :-)

It's simple to cut the mastic (Stanley knife/similar), remove the pedestal, check the waste. 99% of the time it'll just be a gradual build-up of hair. On the other hand, if mum's been eating a lot of soup lately you may find her lost teeth
