Surprised Remy didn't play a part last night. Obviously we did well without him but he is the only player we have who has, for lack of a better word,...class. I can't help thinking that he'll have quite an influence on our survival chances this season. An understanding with Benteke and a different attacking approach other than the whipped in crossing option would mix things up a bit and make us less predictable methinks.

Yeah I wouldn't worry, I think Remy will still play a big role for us over the next few months, but last night was more about being defensive and keeping a clean sheet, and pinching a goal if we can, we of course we did twice and excellently. Benteke was preferred over Remy because we're playing one up front and he's stronger and holds the ball up, whereas Remy is fast and I think has more skill on the ball, but we had Zaha for that last night. Definitely would have come on if we were chasing the game.

He might not be match fit still. Or Sam knows how injury prone he is and didn't wanna risk it
