I'm going to say Schlupp isn't rushed back. Hennessey Tomkins Dann Sakho Ward--------------Van Aanholt ---------McCarthur---Miliovellic Zaha-------------Remy ------Benteke Play the pair of strikers and try and humiliate Sunderland. Could be a bit risky and maybe more likely to see Puncheon in for Remy which would be a shame at home. Edited by leejaneagles (31 Jan 2017 11.22pm)

Will people stop putting Wilf on the left...he's pretty much our best player so you play your best player to his strengths and thats on the right. Hennessy Ward Tomkins Dann Sakho PVA Cabaye Milivojevic McArthur Zaha Benteke Edited by Hudsoneagle (31 Jan 2017 11.24pm) Edited by Hudsoneagle (31 Jan 2017 11.27pm)

PVA was sloppy today on a couple of occasions. I'd go with this Hennessey Ward Dann Tomkins Delaney Schlupp Zaha Benteke PVA Sakho will replace Delaney and the Serb to replace Cabaye once they're settled in. Bloodyhell that's Punch, Townsend etc on the bench.. Weird having good options. Edited by miles18 (31 Jan 2017 11.27pm)

Genuine competition for places...should see a bit of an improvement. Don't think he'll change too much tbh. Sakho must be a fair way off being completely match fit. New midfielder will probably take time to adjust. Schlupp no need to be rushed back and risk further injury. ...and we've just won a game. We've certainly made some upgrades however we are still in the bottom 3 so let's just take one step at a time. Certainly nice to have a bit of positivity around though!

I know we're all playing fantasy manager right now. I probably tried to cram our best players in and put Remy and Benteke in but realistically that isn't going to happen. Others want Schlupp left back over PVA and vice-versa. You could easily drop either of Cabaye/Puncheon for our new boy and then equally say Cabaye is one of our better players. Great to have options yes, but I bloody hope Sam knows his favourite 11 quickly. If we bounce week to week with different midfield and wing combos that could take a long time to settle.

Personally, I would throw in Van Aanholt, Miliojevic and Sakho. They will be desperate to make their debuts and impress the home crowd and it's that extra 10% that could make the difference.
