Right level for him. A very good Championship striker.

How patronising?!?

He'd always get goals, knows where to be and what to do. Would easily still be able to do a job for us, and probably half the teams in the league.
Natural goal scorers like Murray done need speed due to their predator instinct.

I'm not really bothered if I have said something patronising about a Brighton player. Sorry and all that. Also, I don't really think he'd so any more of a job for us than Benteke. You'll probably say Benteke has done nothing for us in recent weeks. I'd agree, but I'm not sure Murray would be tracking back and creating chances from himself if he was getting a poor service from the midfield either. Just my opinion though.

I think you're spot on. And the fact he didn't get offers from other top division clubs and Bournemouth decided he wasn't good enough for them, suggests most premier league managers agree.

I hope Glenn keeps scoring and keeps fit, ideally scoring a hattrick in every game as Brighton lose every one 4-3. But he wouldn't get a sniff ahead of Benteke or Remy. Anyone with an ounce of sense can see that. Even an out-of-form Benteke is comfortably twice the threat of a GM_83 in his prime.

You're right. If he were still with us he'd easily be a bit part player and may have got a few minutes of play this season after CW's injury, but that's about it, especially now Remy is back.

Was excellent for us and a great piece of business at the time, but not for us now.

He's lost loads of weight and looks really sharp, I hate the fact he's even at Brighton! their highest scorer and undoubtedly will fire them to the Prem

Obviously I'm praying am totally wrong or he crocks and twists a muscle

He is in a team 3 positions below us.
I would not have sold him when we did.
He had been playing really well towards the end of the previous season.

I think his heart is at Brighton. Still local to the area and was keen on BHA even when he was out injured with us. I bear him no grudges of course, but he's one from the past that fits a lot better with them than with us.

Not that re-joining us was even something that was on the table for any of the clubs involved.
