Via Newsnow: Huddersfield midfielder Philip Billing - 20 yoa. I know nothing about him and only knew he existed two minutes ago.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

As I was buying a sausage roll on Monday morning I had a sudden curiosity to learn more about the production of these savory delicacies. I immediately quit my job and journeyed to a local pig farm to see for myself the source of the porky goodness I was consuming on a fairly regular basis. Upon reaching the pig farm, you can imagine my shock when the largest pig (a rather grumpy sow called Maude) trundled over me to and began to speak! Much of what the old girl had to say was lost in unintelligible grunting, but I was able to make out some of the wisdom she had to impart and commit it to memory. Now you may wonder where I’m going with this, but by an amazing coincidence the information that I learned from a fat old pig just yesterday morning was in fact an almost complete biography of the very player CPFC have been linked with today – the one, the only, Philip Billing. The porker squealed that, after signing from Esbjerg in his native Denmark, Billing joined Huddersfield Town in 2013. After performing brilliantly for both the under-18's and under-21's, he made his first team début for the club as a substitute in their 2-0 loss against Leicester City at the John Smith's Stadium on 26 April 2014. Just as I thought the miracle had ended, further grunts informed me that Billing’s first start for the Terriers came 18 months later in their 2–2 draw against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on 3 November 2015. His first goal for the club came from a 30-yard strike against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in a 2–0 win for the Terriers on 13 February 2016. On 19 November 2016 he scored his second goal for the club with another stunning strike on the volley from 32 yards out in a 3-2 loss against Cardiff City. It was at this stage that the piggy was led away to slaughter and sadly I was able to learn no more about the player. Sad to see such a wise animal lose it’s life, but it certainly made for a tasty sausage roll this morning. My verdict – No thanks.
