Fair play! My dad would always tell me a story about Dickie Guy saving a penalty for Wimbledon against leads. I think the replay was played at selhurst.

The goal was credited to Johnny Giles but it took a huge deflection off our old mate Arry Bassett. 45,000 at Selhurst to see this game.

As a staunch Carshalton Athletic fan and rival I can not wish anything but a small grudging respect for their feat yesterday. I used to like our local derbies in the 1960's and me and my brother (the famous Carshalton allotments end) used to climb over the park railings or the allotments wall to gain access to the magnificent War Memorial Sports Ground..... aged 6 and 9 years old. Come On You A's. I've watched them play at Torquay Utd in the 1st Rd of the FA Cup! Attachment: Carshalton Athletic.jpg (33.87Kb)
