Sam targeting a centre back in this window and have been linked with Samba,Jagielka and Collins in the last few days. Theres been a lot of negavity about this supposed targets but who would you choose. Samba -Relegated with Qpr worked with Sam before but not pld in the prem for many years Jagielka - captains everton and pld for England on numerous occasions. Lacks pace but prepared to put his body on the line. Collins - managed by Sam at WHU, lacks pace also but throw himself. Played with Tomkins.
What CB should we sign?

Why is sam targeting CB with no pace? All three share the one common feature... Guess he wants a leader but can't afford a more mobile one. Well if we get Jenkinson and PVA I guess they can give cover. Guess jagielka is the best of those three?

I would think that if the other two "lack pace" then surely Samba must go down as pretty well immobile. Should fit right in then!

Alf Ramsey had a similar problem so used a player lacking in pace as his captain and leader and Bobby Moore worked out alright
