I've been looking through the comments and I think people are forgetting the team we played. Everton before today won 3 of their last 4, just smashed Manchester City. They scored 12 and conceded 4. They are 6th in the league. As I've said on a different post, the next five are the biggest games of our season. These are the games where we need points, teams around us and below midtable We can stay up and we will stay up. Saw Parishs face today and he did not look happy, hopefully means he will get more men in We can do this, and a few seasons ago we managed to do it and preform the 'impossible'. Sunderland and Boro if we can win them and get another few points from the other 3, we will pick up confidence. I saw improvement today Let's get behind the team Edited by speediej (21 Jan 2017 6.36pm)

Nice post. I don't think the Everton stats should be revelled in though, they have lost to leceister and Watford in the last 6. There were however positives today, clear positives. Schlupp is an improvement on Kelly, Remy looked class, Hennessy pulled off some great stops (for once) and the team adapted well to a new system. That said I'm no pro Sam palace supporter, in fact I don't believe he's the answer and I'd have 100% kept Pards on (statistically were now getting worse). Also to those stating the players aren't good enough, get real , this first 11 is good enough to keep itself up irrespective of manager (Man for man take a look around the bottom half of the table). OK so that opinion is to Pards's detriment but it is also to Sams. We just need to have a bit of luck and a couple more Signings, assuming that happens I think we'll have enough to stay up. On to the next

Seems whereby two people agree in consecutive posts it's deemed topic closed! Perhaps I should say something controversial or provocative to help light the touch paper?! Guess it's all being covered elsewhere in true hillary v Trump, left v right, black vs white fashion! Well I certainly agree. (I don't think Alan Shearer likes Palace - he never misses an opportunity to put the boot in.)
