Apparently,we may be interested in this Brentford striker.
Their asking price in the region of £15m has cooled West Ham .
He has scored 14 goals this season as against Gayle's 20.
Suggestion. Why not swap Gayle for Townsend if we need a proven goal scorer who has played at a higher level than the Championship??

One player who they released who didnt do a lot there vs the other who has been scoring for fun.

I was only talking about Hogan today with someone from the 'World' of football. He was telling me that Hogan was at Halifax at the same time as Jamie Vardy and Millwall's Lee Gregory.

Hogan had been out this season with an injury but has returned to the side.He has had lengthy spells out with injury to the same knee.Got pace and is sharp around the box but another feature of his game is his movement.Mark Warburton signed him for Brentford from Rochdale.

I prefer the spoof Willo internet trawl posts, TBH.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

I'll have you know I never 'Trawled' the Internet for the above information. We were discussing Hogan today and this formed part of our conversation.

I have lots of interesting conversations with my bathroom mirror but I don't choose to share them on here.

I can assure you I have NOT googled Scott Hogan. He formed part of a discussion I had with a contact over a cup of coffee this morning. To be honest I had no idea he was with Vardy and Gregory at Halifax. You can believe what you like, but I am telling the TRUTH.

Last night in the Two Brewers I was talking to some lads from the Universe of Football and one a scout from the Dominican Republic.
And we all agreed that we should not sign Scott Hogan because he is a poor mans Dwight Gayle.

Strange how telling the truth is the catalyst for such comments.
