If Swansea are bringing in a LB, maybe they might let Taylor move on? Of course they might not want to sell to a relegation rival... From a Palace perspective, it might provide further cover on the left of defense, or allow Schlupp to play further up the pitch as an attacking left midfielder?

im pleaed were looking abroad if this is the bext we can come up with. sometimes i wonder if we are actually looking to strengthen our squad or simply weaken our rivals.

We were rumoured to be tracking a french LB a few weeks ago, maybe go back to that? Trouble is Taylor is tried and tsyted in the PL which is an important asset in favour of Taylor

He's not that bad but equally not particularly inspiring. If we were to get him as a back up to someone, I'd be happy but as a number 1 choice? I am not so sure Yes he is. Swansea see him (and Naughton*) as their weak points. And that's a team that has conceded even more goals than us. When I've seen them play I've thought the CBs were the biggest problem, but there are plenty of Jacks who think it's the full backs. Please don't sign. *Funny now to think that it was Naughton and not Walker that was expected to go on to big things when they joined Spurs! Edited by OknotOK (17 Jan 2017 2.52pm)

Edited by OknotOK (17 Jan 2017 2.52pm) I haven't seen much of him this season but he has been an ever present bar injury. The three full season he has played Swansea finished 11th & 8th & 12th. Personally from what I have seen (as I say, this season it is limited), his situation is not dissimilar to Ward. Decent enough player, possibly like the rest of their squad lacking confidence and in a team that did not replace key members when they left e.g. Williams & Bony.
