I tend to take comments like this with a pinch of salt. Whilst in this case it may be true, what can a player say, "Sammy has come in and it is just Same s*** different day"?

Thanks for the post and link, I do think it will take a bit of time but the new regime is probably doing what a lot of people have been complaining was not being done under Pardew. I am finding the comments made by SA refreshingly honest and straight forward, long old road ahead.

Absolutely, Y Draig Of course, he had the option of not mentioning it. That he chose to do so, speaks for itself. Given the dreadful results on the pitch for over a year, I suspect there is a great deal of truth in it. Edited by NickinOX (16 Jan 2017 1.38pm)

Sam Allardyce is absolutely an honest man - he cares more about money than a passion for football. What you are confusing him with, is a fraud. This is Sam Allardyce's advert to the Crystal Palace board and fans - 'I am a very experienced Manager that has never been relegated and knows the Premier League very well. I have no affiliation to your club and from an outsiders perspective do not care if you are relegated. However, from an employee and professional perspective, I will do absolutely everything in my power to keep this club up and leave you in a stable position as per the job specification. After that, if someone comes along and offers me more money, I will join them. And it was a similar message for his England role. He would never of thrown games or placed bets on England games, you know, truly fraudulent things to do. But football fans can't understand why someone so passionate about football could throw away the England job for a bit of money - that's because Big Sam is passionate about money. He's been pretty honest about that to be fair. Pardew on the other hand probably had the complete opposite agenda. Went on about his commitment and how much he loved the fans as a way to get him out of hard work. All the fans are so blinded by Pardew's buttocks that close to their face that they can't see the shoddy training and preparation that's going on. I'd rather have Pulis or Allardyce over 'Passionate Pardew' and his terrible training any day of the week.

Given the s***e we have been watching week in week out it would be surprising if a proper training session were anything other than a step up at least from whatever it is Pardew has been doing with them. Edited by chateauferret (16 Jan 2017 3.03pm)

I agree that he's hardly going to Slag the training off but at the same time if it was same s*** different day I don't think he would of added that it was some of the best training session he's ever been involved in.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Yeah, happy until they're about to slip into a real relegation fight. Then they're shot of confidence and feeling sorry for themselves. That man is so full of BS it's untrue.
