Hi all, We all know that 2016 was a terrible year for Palace and unfortunately wether some of us like it or not SP had no choice but to remove Pardew, let's be honest if anyone of us performed as bad as he did in our day to day jobs we would have been sacked. He has left behind a team that has lost most of its leaders and a team that is so low on confidence and a lot of players that just do not care about the red & blue shirt they wear as those that have all come in know regardless what happens they will just move on to another club and earn there 80k or 100k elsewhere. The players that did care most were sold off are don't get near the team. We then bring in BFS who to be fair has a very tough challenge and for me is the right appointment for the situation we find ourselves in but do think we have left it to late so this brings me to the future. The one thing that really hurts me more than anything is not the fact we could go down or we keep losing but the manor in which we lose no fight, passion or desire today at West Ham if we may be had a go at them we might of got something out of the game instead we just sat back with a game plan that was working until Hennesey made a terrible decision to come out which caused us to lose this match. I think that we need to start building a team ready for next season & the players that we bring in need to be prepared to accept that we could have a year in the championship where we will need to regroup and try to do a Newcastle. We need to start again and build a spirit and get a group of players that care about the club and with BFS I think we have the right man to do this and help us get out of the championship next season. We have to accept this has been a massive learning curve and one that will make us stronger for the future, one thing I have learnt that instead of buying stars like Benteke who by the way I wanted but in recent displays has shown no hunger or desire to want to wear the palace shirt, we should buy players that are hungry or have a point to prove. Anyway in my opinion we have 6 big games coming up if we don't get a minimum of 9pts from these then it is good night Vienna. In Parish I have fairth and just hope that by going down it does not put us back in administration. Guys lets get behind the team as much as we can even though at times it us hard but if we can get that fight back in the team we have every chance of being the 4th worst team meaning stay up. All the bottom have won is 4 games all season we just need to make sure we win another 6 games out the next 17 and I think 35pts will keep us up. Up the palace and please if anyone from the club reads this can we not just show a bit more fight out on the pitch. Edited by dazza (14 Jan 2017 8.34pm)

Luckily, the future nuclear war accidentally triggered by Trump's bum hitting the button whilst he is at it with a Putin-lookalike prostitute will make the Prem and other leagues much more of a level playing field.

Apart from the spelling mistakes and it was pretty incoherent in parts (some bizarre statements in there, making it sound like we had all gone back in time to 2010 or something!!!) it was a decent post by the OP. Some good points

If the worst comes to the worst and we get relegated if you think we will come back up and Sam will still be here to do that you must have seen the fairies at the bottom of the garden

His 40% win rate suggests not. Currently Sam has 0% after 5 games. Yes, we lost form dramatically but most of the players need to take responsibility for this. If Pardew is guilty of anything, it's that he tried to make us better and to change us to quickly. On paper, Cabaye is a better player than Jedinak for example. But Pardew didn't take into account that spending big amounts of money on quality players doesn't get you the grit and determination of players that still play the game like they're a kid. Cabaye and Benteke both have wonderful attributes, but they don't have the heart and willingness to do well. They don't belong at CPFC. They themselves believe they are to good to be playing at CPFC. These players have let Pardew and the club down dramatically and I still believe changing the manager was wrong. There are a lot of players that deserved to be sacked. Not Pardew. And the problem still exists under Fat Sam. I'm sorry but I would kill to still have a Ramage or a Murray or a Speroni still in the team. These are players that know what it's all about and I'm afraid it won't get any better until these types of players are signed, whether it's Pardew or Allardyce in charge. There has to be point where you have to say, it can't be all the managers fault. Forget Patrice Evra, he will be a big disappointment as well. Allardyce will have us conceding less, but scoring less than Pardew so what will change in manager actually achieve?
