If Sam is not the answer and only gets 2 points from say next 5 or 6 games yet we are still not certs for relegation do we go for it and appoint another manager? I would say 'yes'. Nothing to lose. Edited by Kermit8 (14 Jan 2017 5.06pm)

Gutted but that aint the answer, first half Tomkins SHOULD of put us 1 up, I think sam made a massive error with McArthur for lee substitution,imo I think this weakened our spine, easy to blame also our over exposed defence , full backs are defo a problem, I think rather than blame the manager so early would make our problems worse, onto the next one, hopefully with new additions in place, gutted but coyp

I'll support Sam but Rowett was my first choice. I've no problem (in general) with us losing but today was p-ss poor from the start and as boring as hell.

Well it took a while for Sam to turn it round at Sunderland but he did. Fans don't seem to realise what a mess we're in. We went the second half of last season only winning two league games and started this season with our defence in total disarray. This is Pardew's legacy I'm afraid. Today's result and performance was dis-heartening but was it really any better under Pardew? Also apportion some blame to the lame pricks on the pitch.

You can't seriously be pointing the finger at Sam when he's had less than 4 weeks to work with the players. This is a f***ing deep hole of Pardew's making. Let's see where we are at the end of Feb after some 'winnable' games and new signings.... Forever the optimist
