The signing of schlupp and Jenkinson (if completed) are good start in terms of improving a weak squad. Interesting will Martin Kelly become the fourth Centre back. I personally see schlupp as a left midfield option or even a wingback. A proper lb back is a must with likes of b.Davies, c.Taylor or k.Gibbs option. Also think we should try and loan m.sakho from Liverpool. A left sided centre back will give us more balance. A strong defensive ball winner to protect our fragile back 4. James Mccarthy , Alex song or even the return of jedinak are all options. With remy injuries problems and fraizer Campbell being fraizer Campbell. A another option upfront is another area, we should target. The likes of j.ayew, defoe. With improvement I'm sure with be a prem league team for our 5th season. COYP

You think, we will be bringing in 6 new well paid players in the January window?
Have you heard of the Financial Fair Play rules?

I wouldn't expect more than a RB, LB, CB and if we are lucky a LW but we might find they kill two birds with one stone due to looking at players like Brady and Schlupp who can play both LB and LW.

I think 3 players permanent signings and maybe a loan like Downing. I'd like it if they signed both Brady and Schlupp because that's like x2 LB and x2 LW.

Be interesting to see if we look for centre back cover or a centre back for the first team.

FFP only seems to affect palace. Yet in the summer we spent about 16m.Also didn't affect Bournemouth. If you take in consideration the money received for bolaise, jedinak and Gayle.

Obviously I would move out sako (4m), Campbell 500k. Mutch 3m. Chungy 1m.

Sakho ( loan)
A.Song (loan) your allowed 2 foreign loans
Jenkinson 3m
Schlupp 12m
Charlie Taylor 8m
J.ayew 7.5m

Would be mistakes letting them go I think. Both have something to offer. Chungy, particularly.

Sako and chungy have had games in there palace careers and have done very little. Their ineffective. Last season they hardly featured on the bench. There championship at best.

It'll be like Dean Moxey and Johnny Parr coming back to life.

FFP relates to wages not transfer fees, so our net spend on transfers in the summer is not relevant.

I don't know if we are close to FFP limits but bringing in 6 players is unlikely to be cheap in transfer fees or wages.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.
