If we were to complete the signings of Jenkinson and Schlupp, do you guys think it'll spell the end of Fryers and potentially Sako at this club? The only reason I'd say Sako is because if Souare comes back 100 percent, we would push Schlupp forward and it's not like Sako really plays anyway.

Yes

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

SA has already stated that he didn't think that Fryers was ready for Premiership football and I think that Sako's future may well hinge on how he performs at AFCON.

If we are looking at Schlupp as a full back why are we still chasing after Patrick Anholt?

I'm thinking that we're thinking about putting Schlupp back up front in the long term and have Van Aanholt to fall back on. We could also be thinking that Souare may never come back which would be massively unfortunate or we're just trying to poach players from our rivals so that they'll get relegated.

Think Sam likes Sako and maybe seems him as a squad player. Would be surprised to see Sako go in the summer but who knows.

When Sako arrived we all thought we had a real player on our hands so it seems strange how his form went downhill so quickly. Maybe it was something to do with Pardew. Clearly he has the ability there somewhere so he's probably worth persevering with. Maybe Allardyce can get the best out of him. Let's hope so.

Bringing in Jenkinson and schlupp could mean a change in style to a back 3 or 5. Especially when wilf's away

GK Hennessey/mandanda
RWB Jenkinson
Cb Kelly/ tomkins
Cb dann
Cb delaney
LWB schlupp
Cm new defensive midfielder
Cm cabaye
Cm mcarthur
St benteke
St remy

SUBS: Speroni,KELLY,New.DEFENDER, FLAMINI,PUNCHEON, Townsend, new striker.

Ship out : Mutch, fryers, chungy, and Campbell if a new striker can be found.

We need left sided players and we need depth & balance. If we only got Schlupp and he then gets injured it's back to Martin Kelly on the right & Ward on the left & we know how that works.

With Jenkinson Schlupp and Van Aanholt in the frame its clear that Sam has identified that both full backs need replacing and are the weakest links in our defence. We are slow and ponderous in these positions and the players mentioned will rectify that. Tough on Ward but he has gone alarmingly backwards since Pulis left.

Play him up front with benteke. Or switch to a 3-4-3.

I reckon Fryers is not good enough - so will be sold.
Pappa might not recover to his best - so eventually will be sold (hope I'm wrong on that).
Schlupp will be a very decent wing back when Sam looks to play 3 at the back - and will surprise afew peole with his goals contribution.

Whoever else comes in will be a solid defensive LB first and foremost Davies, Van Arnholt, Robertson or Taylor would all add some quality to the team.
