I love Keith Millen and his loyalty to our club but sometimes you need to have a clear out to introduce new thinking and a different style of play.
Tim Sherwood has worked with Andros and Benteke and got the best out of them whilest under his guard. He is proven to work with younger players and nurture young talent. He is currently a no 2 at Swindon, would he be worth a punt? Surely he would want to get back into the Premier league.

In dog beers I’ve only had one.

WTF does a director of football actually do? I've always thought of it as a kind of House of Lords, i.e. kicked upsatairs manager who doesn't deserve the sack because of good service in the past but who lately has appeared to have lost it.

Negotiates players wages & contracts, manages the scouting network, PR work and doing other work to free up the manager's time.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
