Literally was disgusting. Sam will be mad af, your players should be ashamed of themselves. We're nowhere near as good as you made us look.

Mind, what a goal by Giroud, amazing.

Benteke, Ward, and Flamini were not putting in enough effort. Giroud wonder goal should never have happened, lazy give away, lazy attempt at stopping the cross.

Sanchez aside, our wingers are not good. To be beaten against our wingers requires FB to completely s***, or wingers not to help. Both happened. 2-0 actually flattered you.

Hopefully Big Sam can turn it around for you, but imo, that was absolutely shameful from some of your players.

You obviously watched a different game to me, if at all.

Fair play to Giroud - absolute class.

You'll get some angry responses I'm sure, but I do agree with you to an extent.

You are a world class team however and we're a team that has just changed managers...

Benteke was lazy, Ward was out of position (bad, not lazy I'd say) and yes, sloppy Palace passing led to the Giroud goal (although quite a goal it was!). We should have cleared your second.

You could have had 5 more though... we should have scored from Benteke's header.

Giroud goal was class, I'm not arguing that, but we weren't some amazing team. Your GK should be proud today, kept you in the game, but Ward and the wingers were shocking today. Our wingplay is probably (Sanchez aside) not at all that great, in fact, most games, our wingers are crap.

I never witnessed lack of effort.

I witnessed a team who looked tired, were second in mind and body, who lacked quality against much better players, and who couldn't string decent passes together. Also witnessed full-backs who simply didn't know what to do.

Expected Arsenal to have much more of the ball but I expected us to do a lot better than we did.All of a bit of a stroll for Arsenal.

Allardyce said he wanted 2 new players - I think he will need more than that !

we actually looked hung over from nye

we was so so so unexciting to watch, my old man actually fell asleep during the game and thats unheard of

big sam will be kicking some serious ass over the next couple weeks

saying that i fear the damage could well have been already done by pardew

pundits saying "we are too good to go down"
personally i think we have every chance of going down and perhaps it could be for the best as we could bounce back up even stronger with a completely different looking squad

but what do i know...

The first post ive actually sgreed with you. Benteke has to score that header if that was costa it would have been in. Zaha cant rely on getting free kicks even if it is afoul and he has to be more bullish on contact.
Cant see whats different since the pardew days.

Was gooner1 actually at the game ?
They guy is talking gibberish.Perhaps we did make them look good but there was no lack of effort and we went 1-0 down to a pure fluke.
And judging by Sam's substitutions thoughts were more on the Swansea game.
But I was surprised at the lack of effort by the Arsenal fans, considering they get gates of 60,000 they don't make a lot of noise.

That second goal is all I have to say. Are you really telling me there was no lack of effort in defending that? That was horrendous, had they actually gone for the ball, no way was Iwobi winning an aerial battle with anyone in that back four.

Nope, I'm no longer living in the UK, but you don't need to be there to judge it.

As for our fans, the atmosphere never returned after the stadium switch. Something West Ham are finding out too

Arsenal fans are so fickle, they spend most of the time criticising Giroud, now he's the best thing since sliced bread.
