I think with the appointment of big Sam we should survive however the squad still needs strengthening. I personally feel we need to add 4 or 5 in Jan. Cb- m.sakho, zouma on loan Any other suggestions

id really like james Mccarthy in our side to play along mcarthur, even if their names would get a bit confusing. I think he would be a very good addition to our side both defensively and in supporting mcarthur to push up and attack a bit more. Debatable weather we need him, joe medley and of course the inconsistent Cabaye, but just a thought

Sakho at CB is a good shout.

I'd like to see Defoe here, Smalling as well, Luke Shaw and any internationally capped European Sweeper to shore up the defence. Sell Mutch . Would also like to see some of the Development squad included. If they're never going to play first team, why keep them?

The annoying thing is that Palace only have 20m to spend on players.

Sakho at CB is a good shout. Had to doubletake over this statement. Luckily there are a number of Sakho's around. Even Pards wouldn't of tried this, then again ? Kirchoff is a good shout but presently injured long term. Him and Kone were pivotal signings for Sam at Sunderland. Think he already has a shopping list. Hopefully his statements about already having enough quality are only to gee up the squad presently as they remind me of Pards saying this time last season and not strengthening in Jan. That would be a mistake.

M'Vila on a free makes a lot of sense.

Do we not need a striker with Wickham out injured and Remy prone to injury? Loan?

Sniederlin to Everton should free up the Parish/Pardew target James McCarthy. However, that is going to take up most of the £20m so is unlikely. Plus of course Big Sam may not see James McCarthy as the right fit. The answers are in the dossier! Anyone seen it? Parrot

Patrick Van Aanholt for me. We need at left back and he fits the bill. Only problem is would the Mackems sell to one of their relegation rivals though?
