I think with the appointment of big Sam we should survive however the squad still needs strengthening. I personally feel we need to add 4 or 5 in Jan.

LM- Ashley Young, Brady
CDM- yann M'Villa or Morgan sniederlin

Sakho at CB is a good shout.
DM is a position I would like sorted; Kirchhoff, Schneiderlin or Dembele for me.
LB is an obvious position that he will want to address; Shaw, Van Anholt or Ben Davies would do fine. Shaw is probably the most likely out of those.
A striker is needed too as we can't rely on Remy as understudy to Benteke.

Had to doubletake over this statement. Luckily there are a number of Sakho's around. Even Pards wouldn't of tried this, then again ? Kirchoff is a good shout but presently injured long term. Him and Kone were pivotal signings for Sam at Sunderland. Think he already has a shopping list. Hopefully his statements about already having enough quality are only to gee up the squad presently as they remind me of Pards saying this time last season and not strengthening in Jan. That would be a mistake.
