England fan here in peace. I know you'll all be excited about your new manager, Big Sam, but hear me out. He was manager here at England for a short while and despite his 100% win record, he did absolutely jack all. First of all, one of his mistakes was selecting English players when we all know German and Spanish players are a big better. Secondly, he's old fashioned. For all of the games he was in charge of us he put a tall slim bloke in goal, totally afraid to try out someone short and fat. We won no silverware an look where we are now. We had to put flags up at the games for what seemed liked months (remember our quirky #SamOut hashtag?) before the FA saw sense and got rid of him. So yes, I'll come back here and crow in 3 months if you haven't won the World Cup.
