I was one of the fans who would have given him till the end of the year but it may have well not have changed fortunes.

I wish him all the best for the future and thank him for some great memories especially the cup run last year where we were so close to that major trophy.

Hopefully he is welcomed back in the not too distant future for a game.

All the best.

If it was going to happen, now is probably the right time. I bear no ill feeling towards AP but may faith in him had evaporated. I hope that he has great success elsewhere and will welcome him back to Selhurst. We have got a new manager to look forward to, a vital transfer window and a less daunting set of fixtures in early 2017. It could be an exciting start to the New Year!

I feel sad to see him go he really seemed to love the club. I head lost faith in the end time for a change. Fingers crossed, Mancini is on his way.

It's not been boring that's for sure.

Thanks, Al.

All we need now is for Brighton in the Prem, Hughton to get the sack by Xmas and Agent Pardew to take them back down to where they belong.

Hero cult status and legend assured.

Likewise I really wanted it to work out and was happy for him to have some more time. I also enjoyed the cup run.

However, ultimately much as he was as a player he was not quite up to it. The results were just not good enough.

I am sure the payoff will cushion the blow and wish him well.

That FA Cup final was the best and worst day as a palace fan (and I've witnessed many relegations in my time). I thank Pardew for that and move on.
