Problem is people will say "this is over 2 seasons so doesn't count" we have to be sh** for a whole season before some will accept it

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Whilst I want Pardew out, it doesn't count. All the points Leicester won last season count for squat and they are just 2 points ahead of us.

The 38 games of the 16/17 season are what actually count now.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

This is why Hull, Burnley and Swansea cost us dearly. 8 possible points thrown away by suicidal defending.

Scoring at least three goals against those teams should have resulted in at least three wins.

Exactly it's just a continuation which is at the moment is surely pointing in 1 direction downhill. You don't usually start off on a clean slate unless you leave to start a new appointment managing another club. Not bad form running into 2 seasons in 1 long stretch with the same club.

Not allowed to mention our horrific league form in the first half of 2016 apparently, because anything that happened before the 2016/17 season is irrelevant.

That is, of course, unless you're using the FA Cup run and him keeping us up in his first season as reasons to keep him as manager, in which instance they miraculously become valid arguments. Makes sense.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Agree,
I want Pardew out but this is nonsense.
You can look at this season or last. Amalgamating the two is just a desperate attempt to make things look as bad as possible.

Not sure even Chelsea could get more than three wins in three matches

It does show that this calendar year Palace have been the lowest performing by quite a long way in the premiership. We haven't got the worst players or moved ground or changed managers.
What could it be?
I'm f**king racking my brains here

Don't agree. It's showing the timeline & how things have deterioated. You judge things by looking at the whole picture not just bits some which may be good or not. Some people like to weight things up by considering all factors overall.

More negative s***e from people who refuse to just support the team through a difficult time. Let the board get on with making any necessary changes if need be.

Lets be honest, over the last 4 years we'd probably be around mid-table. Yup, about as useless stat as the calendar thing. 1 season is all that counts.
