I've posted before on here about my feelings regarding my club which I have followed and supported over 50 years and my minority opinion regarding loyalty.
I am enjoying the football we are playing under Pardew, as much as the days of Johnny Byrne,Vince Hilaire,Wright and Bright but like many palace fans I do get very disappointed at seeing defensive mistakes which are often due to lack of concentration in my opinion.
in 2010 we were averaging around 14000 per home game. Now we are getting 25000 every game.
2010 I would often see people walking around Croydon in Arsenal and Chelski shirts.I wonder how many of them have changed allegiance to Palace and how many of them are anti Pardew.
I dont want Pardew to go and I certainly dont want 'Fat Sam' or Martinez.I believe that Pardew does care about Palace and even if we do get relegated should stay.Loyalty means more to me than success but I know I am in a minority.

Steve Kember also cared about Palace passionately.

Were you as loyal to him on here as you are being to Pardew ?

Sorry but there's no such thing as loyalty in football. If pardew was offered a job at a top 4 club or the England job, do you think he'd give palace a second thought?

Yes.... but I didnt use computers then....
There have been lots of lows over the years that i have experience watching Palace and maybe thats why my expectations arn't as high as others on here.

I admire your principles, sincerely. It would be a lovely story for you to be proved right and us naysayers wrong.

Would that be the same Pardew that was waving his willy at the England job 12 months ago? If something he perceived as better was open to him all that would be left of his loyalty would be a discarded bench-coat on the floor of the manager's office at Beckenham, with AP on it.

His record shows him to be less than competent and there's no reason why we need to remain loyal to a failure and let him take us down the divisions. No manager has a record like he has in 2016 as a result of 'defensive mistakes' alone.

As for the additional support, the higher up the league you go the bigger the gates get and the converse is also the case. Those people pay their money and, provided they're cheering on the Palace, they have as much right to be there as you do.

I think he might but then he has a career to consider as well as his aspirations..I'm more interested in the Fans loyalty to the club of which the current manager is part of.

So supporters expressing concern about Pardew's record over the last year are disloyal, but you, who isn't particularly bothered if we're relegated, are in some way a better fan? FFS

Oh ok, so the fans have to be loyal, but if the manager is offered a better job it's ok for him to go. Whereas if he does a crap job, we're supposed to be loyal to him. Bit one-sided? The fact he would get a huge pay off if sacked would probably soften the blow for him..

what a load of the usual "I'm a proper fan" s***e. There's a lot of fans who aren't plastic at all who want him out. I'd love to see you try and say otherwise to their faces
