I thought Dougie was in good form tonight as a BT Sport analyst - particularly in his observation that we need a ball-winner in front of the back four.

If Pardew does get the bullet (and I hope he is given more time), then I would much prefer a return of Dougie to the likes of Allardyce or Hodgson.

A subtle play for the job, I thought.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Cucking might be right on that - he made it plain he wants to be back in management

A lot of people still haven't forgiven dougie for walking out on us but factually when it comes to defending dougies teams we're much bette organised than Pardews. Freedman and poppo dream team

Yes I thought that. I've cooled a bit on him. I'd actually take him back now if it meant the end of Pardew.

His family aren't safe when he works here so it's an impossibility.

But regarding ball winners in front of defence we have panic recruit free agent Flamini who makes his 1st start in the 5th month of the season. And Cabaye who doesn't get turned by Pogba as Shearer says but just falls over like a complete fanny. That tw&t is really annoying me. Gone from one of my favourites when he and McArthur were in top form to being an absolute tart. Should've scouted Rincon and others earlier.

And left backs?

And more CB cover? I suppose we have to offload Kelly and/or sign another left back.

And not dealing with this Townsend right wing bollox. Pardew isn't strong enough and can only bring on Fryers for 10 mins to punish Townsend. What a joke.

And the Remy injury record.

Dougie back . No thank you. Top of the league and going well and he abandons us for more money.
Ian Dowie was the same and Steve Bruce. It's called loyalty. No thanks the opportunity was given to him and he blew it!!

I'd rather he decided to take up a job on the drag circuit.

No thank you. I'd prefer someone up and coming and Rowett is available. Or someone from overseas.

Big Sam has a worse record than AP, so no thank you there too.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Dougie as a defensive coach wouldn't be a bad idea given the park bus approach he had, but not on his own, not without a chaperone. Who was his scout btw? He unearthed a few gems.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.
