..or just kick Pards? Team selection looked odd. But, Lee was good as was Flamini. Then, the ref (who was terrible) should have both ruled out their opener and sent off their man for the bad challenge. This changes the entire game. We scored a great goal, generally looked solid and deserved the 1-1 based on the above. I will acknowledge that a)we should have cut out zlatan for the winner (who along with the overated pogba was bang average) and b)the MCcarthur sub (best player on the pitch by some way imo) made no sense But, will the haters acknowledge any merits or positive moves on Pardews part?

What about the penalty they should have had and a wrongly disallowed goal we had good and bad luck in that game, we played our best winger as a striker our best cdm as a winger and threw away a solid point for glory and arrogance, the pr!ck needs to go

bad luck doesn't follow you consistently for a whole entire year? or is p45dew gone down in history as the unluckiest manager in premier league history? personally I think p45dew is the luckiest man on the planet to still be in a job

Are some people so blind they can't see. That ref was s***e to both sides. Pardew decided that game.

I agree with raw. That was a battling performance against a team of megastars. A 2-1 defeat is no disgrace against such strong opponents. I give Pardew credit for that - and I am pleased that Dougie thought the same in his post- match comments. Also, great bit of skill by Damo for our goal.

I'm a Pardew lover but you can't blame the ref tonight. Their first was offside but they also had a clear handball penalty and a good goal ruled offside.l shortly after. The Rojo tackle was rash but never a red. On referees decisions it was 2-1 in favour of Palace tonight. We didn't make it count.

If you honestly think Rojo's 2 footed, off the floor, studs up challenge was not a red you should have a serious look at the rules of the game. Edited by DJ_NG (14 Dec 2016 11.31pm)

6 wins in 41 games. I suggest there is more than bad luck at play.
