Punch suspended, good!

I don't really mean to pick on just one of our under performing players, but Punch is really under performing. I hope Jimmy is fit for Wednesday and with the very limited options open to AP, we need 2 massive performances in the next 2 games. I would name Punch, Cabaye, Kelly and Townsend as needing to step up and show that they are good enough. Players like Chungy, Mutch and Sako are always going to be fringe players, so until we can buy better players, the current so called "best eleven" will have to improve, or the results against the poorest teams will continue, and the best teams will tear us apart.....rant over!!

Well I don't think that it'll be 'good' for us. Puncheon is less effective when he's played deeper, like yesterday, as he's no defensive-mid. We really needed as many experienced hands on deck as possible on Wednesday and I can take no joy in losing one of them.

Punch is one of our best players along with Benteke, Wilf and McArthur. He was playing well yesterday for the first 10 minutes when he was playing further forward, don't know why Pardew changed it.
