Well what a surprise, BT have picked the Man U and Arsenal games.

BBC have picked Man City v Wham and Spurs v Villa.

To be fair, Palace v Bolton is hardly a glamour fixture, is it?

Personally, would have liked to have seen Sutton v AFC Wimbledon.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Since 2005, every FA Cup Game involving Manchester United has been shown live on telly, so no surprise there.

Will man city be able to cope with Andrew Ridgelys pace. Will George Michael be able to stiffen up the back 4. Have Pepsi and Shirley still got the legs to control midfield. No wonder the beeb chose it.

In all honesty who wants to watch a game between Premiership strugglers and a League 1 side other than their own supporters

I don't think that Stu was saying that the Bolton Palace match should have been on instead, it will be hard enough drumming up interest from Palace and Bolton fans.

The problem is the predictability of the BBC's TV choices. Sutton v AFC W'don and Accrigton Stanley v Luton have the potential to be much more interesting.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

That's precisely what I was alluding to.

I think Man U and Arsenal have had every FA cup tie televised for a number of years now. I'd rather see the lowest ranked side in the competition play. Or at least pick games where it's a small club v a much bigger one, instead of those two versus whoever they get drawn against.

and would have been a great income boost for both clubs too

There is no benefit to BT from the world wide audience, those rights are sold separately to the UK.

They pick them because their viewing figures are woeful and they have to kowtow to the fans of those clubs.
