Has died, having suffered from cancer.

Bexley Dave

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

Just Palmer left.

RIP.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

That's news to him. He's going on tour in March.

Maybe he's literally touring with The Grateful Dead...but no, in all seriousness, Palmer is still very much among the living.

On a separate note, in remembrance of Lake and a true Christmas classic ....one of the few that I never tire of listening to in the average high street shop from October:

Download and make this a posthumous no: 1...if only!

This live performance of Lake's XMAS classic is far better:

Now THIS is what I call real festive melody.

Arnie retired from the tour about 15 years ago.

I've no idea what you're on about.

Thanks for positing this link, enjoyed watching that.

Interesting line-up, couple of prog legends on guitar and flute...then the band leader from Strictly on keyboards!

ELP - From The Beginning

I ferkin love this song, one of Greg's finest songs.

When hearing King Crimson's 21st Century Schizoid Man played I laugh because in about 1974/75 I worked at L&G in Kingswood, Surrey. The pub and local bank/shops were down the hill by the station.

I walked down there one summer lunchtime and the stuffy frightfully posh villagers were up in arms because 2 L&G lads I knew from our footy team were playing that album in their upstairs flat with the windows open extremely loudly.

I pissed myself laughing as this old codger was trying to get them to stop it by banging on their door... LOL

RIP Greg..... great musician/song writer.
