Currently Souare's return can't be guaranteed, the full back spots look a problem at the moment. Tomkins did ok at rb vs Southampton but any of the options currently are severally lacking in the attacking sense at least.

At ST, Wickham is a long term injury, we can't rely on Remy coming back and Campbell as backup. We need someone who can play alongside Benteke and benefit from his flick-ons but also capable of playing up front on his own.

Defensive midfield has been a problem this season, we've not won a game this season with Cabaye in the team and Ledley has one good game then has a complete mare the next.

Townsend does not fancy himself as a left winger and Zaha is far better on the right too. I don't expect us to fill this spot this season but certainly for the future it needs addressing.

We allegedly had a sizeable bid for Lookman of Charlton turned down on deadline day so another winger must have been in the management's mind in the summer

Considering the dearth of naturally left-footed players, it's slightly irritating that, when you sign one, he doesn't want to play on the bloody left

Sako has looked ok in his recent cameos, and a hell of a lot slimmer than when he returned from injury last year.

He may still prove useful on the left.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

I think we find a couple of players that can play more than one position. Would be great for example to find a left midfielder who can also play as a creative number 10/ second striker, basically kills 2 birds with one stone.

I think a problem for us has been our players lack of flexibility when it comes to positions. Zaha is only a RW as is Townsend really, Lee CY is a number 10 who struggles to play on the wing, none of the central midfielders excel in the DM position etc.
