Apologies I'm just reacting to the other post!

My reasons,

Clean sheet
Correct Tactical decisions
Delaney back barking orders and throwing his body on the line with others like Dann following.
Tomkins moving to full back in place of Kelly.
Hennessey rising confidently claiming a number of high crosses.
3 goals!
The whole team putting a shift in and working hard together.

Yes it wasn't always pretty but for me under the circumstances it sent me home in a very happy mood and was definitely up there as one of the best performances of the season so far.

Agree, was win at all cost yesterday and things went better than anyone expected. We are back, smash Hull next week and we can afford the luxury of not having to worry to much about results against Man u and Chelsea.

Probably the best result of the season but we have played much better than that and lost games. Leicester away and City at home we played better imo.

And the right ref. That thug Rojo should've been sent straight off.

I think this was a game in which the breaks went our way. I think we set up to keep it tight and defend set pieces well ( which is understandable ) We did this but prior to our goal we hardly had the ball near their 18 yard box let alone looking like scoring.

What I think was great about it was that we were under the cosh before the game even started and we were very resilient. I think that if they scored first our heads would have gone down a little, but then it is amazing how much a goal or two will do for a struggling side. We knew we were capable of these dirty wins and we knew we could be stronger in defence than we have been. We were playing for the manager as well which was very professional.
