I would give Pards a bit longer as I feel we have the players to defend and we know they can do it as they have done it before BUT Southampton like most teams will fancy their chances on Saturday. I admire your confidence though

I admire your confidence though Yes I think we have the players who can defend as well , trouble is one is on the bench ,another injured himself in a car wreck , one is still gaining experience in league 1 and the forth plays for Juventus and we haven't signed him yet

Going forward we are decent, just need to shore up the defence. Get that sorted and we will be fine. I have confidence in super al and the players. I admire your optimism,but we are going to lose against a good Southampton side,our 7th defeat in a row,and following our 8th defeat against Hull the following week, Parish will finally wake up to the horror show we are all witnessing and act ,albeit, belatedly.

I am by nature a pessimist, and being a Palace supporter for 50 years certainly hasn't helped, but I did notice Southampton played Sunday, then play Wednesday night in the EFL Cup at Arsenal. None of that is ideal preparation for a game against us. We'll be their 3rd game in just under 6 days. Grasping at straws, but this is Palace after all and they've not been in great form.
