Ive never really been a big fan of Zaha
Thought he flattered to deceive ,and a highy selfish footballer
Not good enough at crossing
Not good enough at finishing and doesn't score enough goals

Yeah he scored on Saturday , against a terrible defence
And now he has decided to join Ivory Coast
Which means that he will be unavailable for selection if or when he goes to the African Nations
If CPFC were comfortable in mid table this would be fine
But choosing to do it now just underlines exactly where his mind is at
Forget that " he's one of our own " nonsense , he was rejected by Man Utd without one start
No one else wanted him so he came back to Palace .
Truth .

Wants to play international football and never going to happen with England. Good luck to him. Not his fault we're in the s**t we're in, if anything he's the one player who's played constantly well this season.

If he's s*** why do you care if he's off for a month?

Our best player by an absolute mile this year.

Wilf is POTY for me so far. He had some of the faults that The OP lists in the past but not any more. He is one one of a very few players that really can change a game. We should be thankful that Moyes and Van Gaal were both blind to his potential.

I don't blame him for wanting to play for Ivory Coast. He must look at the England squad and think Lingard? Townsend? If he can't get into a squad that contains them he knows that England is a lost cause for him. There is not another English player that can do what he can. What a waste to let him drift away.

Wilf is playing his heart out in a very unsuccessful team at the moment. I hope he does not read such ridiculous rubbish as the OP for this thread.

Croydonlad your threads are consistently ridiculous. Zaha has got an assist in each of his last 5 games, and a goal too. He's our best player currently.

So he's no great loss then is he?
Baffled why you want to slag off last season's POTY and the leader for this season so far?
Good luck to him.

Was the first player to come over and applaud the fans on Saturday. I think the only other who did was Townsend.

Don't think you can accuse him of not caring about Palace, he just wants an international career. I would do exactly the same in his current situation as he's never going to get picked for England whilst playing at CPFC.

I suppose that Townsend won't get picked as long he plays for us either

Could you offer a reason as to why Townsend (who's riding off good performances for Newcastle over 6 months ago)gets put straight into the national team over a player like Zaha?

If you want someone to join in your frustration, the Daily Mail are hilariously getting angry at an immigrant for going back to where he came from
