Why not Tomkins at RB and slide Ward across? Then at least the back 4 are all defenders....

Keeper (agree with others, don't really care who) Tomkins (rb) Cabaye Zaha (rw) Benteke I appreciate delaney would not be made captain, but for me the most natural leader we have and would allow dann to concentrate on just defending.

Hennessey Ward Benteke Pardew said after the game that some players had let him down and he would make changes . With the squad we have I'm sorry to say but we just don't have the players to make too many changes . It's going to take hard work and some home truths . I'm disappointed that Pardew is still at the club . I think he should go and take Woodman and Keen with him .

Probably the best side we can put out but understand Cabye is suspended for this game, where if we don't sort out our defensive frailties, could see Saints scoring bucket loads against us. A good idea to bring in a shrink or a great motivator to get the teams heads in gear for this vital fixture, which if we dare lose, will see us in the bottom three, with little hope under that failure of failures,Mr.Pardew.

As long as Kelly plays at left back we'll be fine.

So i guess drop Macarthur back, punch in the middle and townsend on the left, could maybe give Sako a shot? Either way, ,against a pretty decent Saints team , it will be a tough old game.
