It's pretty obvious our managers on borrowed time, but even if he does turn things around and he keeps his job, I still reckon he'll leave by the time his current contract's up. But either way, when he does leave, I think we should be grateful and not angry with him. Yes this year's been shambolic, but it wasn't always under Pards. He got us both an FA Cup final and our first top half prem finish, and for that alone he deserves credit. I'm not saying that justifies everything that's happened these past months, but we should acknowledge the good and the bad. Besides, let's be honest, who could ever steady the Palace roller coaster?

This isn't a roller coaster, it's freefall.

If he agreed to a good, old fashioned mutual-consenting right now, I'd have full respect for him and would be very grateful for keeping us up that first season and the cup run which was superb. If, as seems to be the case, he hangs on by his fingernails as we slowly sink down the league then I will look back on him as a bit of a cock really.

Doubt it'd be the first happy ending he's had, to be fair

Fair enough, but I'm willing to look past it personally
