what happens at half time?

I don't get to games, unfortunatley, but looking at this site/reading reports/checking scores etc, it seems that we generally are pretty crap in the first half of games, then give a great second half Performance. Does anyone else agree with this? and can offer a reason as to why this may be the case. It would suggest that we most definately have the tools to win games, if we start that game from the first second! I am not A statman, but it would be interesting to see a table if a game took place over the 2nd half only.

I think before every game Pardew should give a furious team talk as if it is half time and we are 2-0 down. Then on the 10th minute of the game start making substitutions.

Tables for first half show we have only led in one first half this seasson and drawn in 3 which is the worst in the prem. Second half we have won 6 and drawn 1 , making 5th place in the second half tables.

Not sure what happens! I'd imagine Pardew sits there with his head in his hands. The only difference normally in the second half is that because the opposition are normally leading at the break, they tend to sit back in the second half so we have more of the ball.
