Hi All, Bristol Rovers fan in peace here! I've started a petition to get parliament to debate safe standing. If you could take a minute to sign and share it that would be amazing. Lots of people stand all game at present so why not let them do that safely? Clubs want it, fans want it and Germany has it so why not sign the petition: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/169323 Cheers Tom

I want unsafe standing back. It was so much fun and unpredictable apart from one or two incidents. Just made life more exciting. Celebrating a goal and ending up 25metres away where you started when the ball hit hit the back of the net. It was bloody great!

And you had all that "Knees up Mother Brown" stuff on the Holmesdale Terrace when all of a sudden you were plummeted a long way from where one was standing and it was very dangerous to boot.

It will be a brave government that allows standing in English grounds again, they probably wont want to take the risk and hide behind the Taylor report. If it aint broke dont fix it. Personally i couldnt care less either way.

I signed it - politicians should talk about something meaningful. Only 178 signatures so far.

To be fair, a lot of grounds have unofficial standing areas anyway. Technically against the rules, but stewards turn a blind eye.

I not only stood yesterday at Albion Rovers but also skulked in the corner listening to the Palace game on the radio. (Well, BBC streaming). As far as I can tell the only danger was if someone thought it was Airdrieonians I was listening to.
