So, Palace lost and Gayle scored twice up 't north.

Here's the post for anyone who feels they want to say either of these two things, to vent their bollocks, so the rest of us don't have to read that s***.

EDIT: At any level, as long as he's given a fair crack.

He's starting every week for Newcastle and scored 9 already. He may well get to 30 goals, which is phenomenal.

All the best to him!

Gayle had three years and three managers to impress enough to pick him every week. He failed.

Scoring two against Brentford today? Well in that case we should bid £20mill for him in January.

He's a very decent second level footballer. If Newcastle get promoted he won't last very long.

Don't believe he's good enough for the Premier League, his close control isn't good,he loses the ball too easily. But at the moment he is plenty good enough for Newcastle ,until they are promoted.

Does anyone think Newcastle would have paid £10m for Connor Wickham?

Does anyone think CW would have scored 9 goals for them so far this season?

Then why have we ended up being lumbered with him?

I've agreed with your posts wholeheartedly twice this evening. I'm worried... :-/

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Gayle ~ Too good for the championship not quite good enough for the Premiership
Same as Murray
Same as Norwich

Pointless Topic , its been done over and over and over

And yes Wickham is better suited to the Premiership than Gayle

By the sounds of things I''m one of the few who disagrees. Gayle's finishing is top drawer. However, he needs a target man but the only teams who can truly play more than one up front are the very top teams. He will never be able to break into one of those ergo I guess some of you are right. He's not good enough to be premiership. Essentially, he's not good enough for the prem but only because others in midfield are not.
