I think that was a freak miss probably attributable to everything being sopping wet and Benteke trying to be too clever. More worried about Pardew's laissez-faire approach to penalties per the interview after Cabaye's last miss. Seemed to imply that nobody practices the things.

Townsend should be given a chance for the next 3 penalties. He has a fantastic shot so should be a top penalty taker.

It hard to watch penalties at the moment as we just do not seem confident. However it's good that we are getting them.

Jedinak was our best pen taker for years. Benteke is and should be on pens. Despite the awful one today I'd imagine he'll remain on them.
