It is incredible how things have changed now that we have four years in the Premier League consecutive. The team that we are building means that a 1-1 draw at Everton and probably should have won in the second half is now no longer a surprise to many of us. Our glasses are no longer half empty. We are still realistic at times, but the previous negativity no longer washes anymore. I look at the top players we have now got- Benteke, Townsend, Zaha, Punch, Cabaye, McArthur, Dann, Tomkins, Mandanda, we have a lot of real genuine quality now. We should be going 'toe to toe' with the likes of Everton. The old days of 'plucky old Palace'!!! they belong back in the days before Parish and co brought the club. So proud of where they have taken us

Well said, we are beginning to look a very solid outfit. Quality always pays in the end, lets give AP a mention who is doing a very good job IMO

Will always remain pessimistic and then the joy of winning is greater and the despair of losing is more bearable. Roll on 40 points and this teams place in Palace history.

Please try and show a little consistency with your endless posts glaziermart. Three weeks ago you were berating Alan Pardew for his incompetence and waving him goodbye.

I wouldn't criticise someone for re-evaluating their opinion about a player or manager in the light of changed circumstances. I'm really happy if a critic (short term or long term) of AP becomes an admirer. I read a post recently in which someone talked about eating humble pie in this context. Firstly, I admire the poster for being big enough to say this publicly & secondly I'm delighted that AP is winning more admirers.

So proud of where they have taken us ..get tapped into computers these days, I will repeat to all you idiots who moaned and groaned like all the equally dump arsed Newcastle tits that our manager is quite possibly the best manager we have ever had, he needed time and it was very evident that he was getting respect from the team and staff around him, the unfortunate results meant nothing as long as the team comes together and doesn't capitulate during any particular game and during all the games in our unfortunate run this team tried and could have very very easily got points from every single game during it, I'd love somebody who disliked Mr Pardew to point me to a full game where he lost the players commitment and desire.......there wasn't one you total fools.
