Not my choice of words, but he has created more chances than anyone else - 22 - in the league thus far.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

His dead ball delivery over the last few games has improved hugely.

I couldn't believe that too but I'm glad to hear of Punch's numbers.

Punch is so good, he's sure to be picked for England soon

along with Dann

Along with Townsend

along with Zaha

What's the odds he's just pick the same bunch of losers instead?

We do have some awesome players and Punch is on fire, bloody mavellous

Punch is a good qualit prem player. that we can now utilise as first team / squad player material come January when hopefully we invest in a better all round number 10

For me Punch was the difference against Sunderland. In the first half especially he controlled the game. His big down point is that he too often dawdles on the ball and so is prone to losing it, but he didn't do that at the weekend.

Also, has anyone else noticed that we suddenly seem to be attempting through balls rather than just playing out to the wings? I don't know if this is due to Big Ben.

Given the form of Barkley and Rooney I think Punch should be considered for England. But he won't be.

Conversion rate is poor so the 'quality' of the chances may be questionable....

I'd like to actually know what constitutes a 'chance'. If its assists for an effort on goal then as he takes a lot of corners and free kicks its not surprising is it.

Key passes = passes/ crosses where the player receiving has a shot

Chances created = key passes + assists

Not sure why key passes excludes assists.

Yes Puncheon is high on this as he has been taking corners this season - 10 chances from corners, 12 from open play. Been our most creative in open play so far this season, last year it was Wilf.

He's able to roam all over the pitch with much greater freedom than most other PL players, so he's always involved.
