Apparently they pipe the noise from the fans through the speakers around the stadium during the match to help boost the atmosphere! Now that's very sad considering the size of the crowds they are getting. Interesting quote on the radio today 'went to visit West Hams new stadium today bit like a visit to London's new library-comfortable seats, lovely facilities and nice and quiet!
