I have travelled all the way from OZ to see Palace play in the EPL.

Have been a supporter since 1957 and have only seen Palace play once in the 2 be division

Palace are away while we are in London so I have had to book tickets for Sunderland v Palace this Saturday.

Are any of you guys going to watch......if so would like to meet up before the game and take in the experience of being a Palace supporters.

If so where and when

Going with two mates. Last season we went to the Colliery Arms before and after the game. It's the nearest pub to the stadium and the locals were quite friendly. I'd imagine we'll go there again this time and should get there about 1-1.30 p.m. Should be quite a few Palace fans in there. Look out for three old gits and that's us. How do we recognise you, hat with corks dangling from it?

That's great

We will be the 2 gray headed lost souls looking for a decent beer on tap

1 in lasts years Palace home strip with a gray moustache the other a gray goatie beard who looks and sounds a bit like Crocodile Dundee.

We will be driving up from Leeds so will probably get hopelessly lost on the way

Will try to find the pub...thanks very much

All palace fans welcome this Saturday at Establishment in Sunderland. Cheap pints at £1.90 and good banter and stage games with Wee Phillie. Only minutes from the ground in the city centre next to the Travelodge.

Just arrived back in OZ and wish to thank the supporters we met before and after the Sunderland away win.

We were seated on the half way line 20 rows back among the Sunderland season ticket holders. We were advised to keep our Palace strip hidden while seated to avoid any dramas with their supporters. Luckily we were freezing so hiding was not an issue.

However when 2- 0 down with 20 minutes to go it was hard to even politely clap the Black Cats goals that we gave them.....then when 2-1 and 2-2 and finally 3-2 up I literally had to hyperventilate until we reached the safety of the Palace supporters at the Colliers Arms.

I want to thank every Palace supporter we met on the day
for making the day so very very special and say that the Sunderland supporters around us were so very negative towards their team, even when 2-0 up, and was so proud of the support and noise made by the Palace supporters high up in the corner of the stand at the end of the ground......very very inspiring.

Palace for the top 10 this year for sure.....a different class of team this year as opposed to our historical way of playing and playing for survival for another year in the top tier.

It's no wonder you felt cold coming from such a warm climate to the north of England and it's not even close to proper cold yet !! Sounds like a fab day you had I did not get to Sunderland but away days are often a lot better than home games in my mind and I have had to sit on my hands before that takes a bit off the experience. You could be right about this season onwards and upwards ( Hopefully )
