When is Cabaye fit again?

Benteke, Townsend, Zaha, McArthur, Dann and Mandanda shoud all be rested in prepartion for the Sunderland game. The Southapton game should be used to give match experience to those that are usually on the bench or those that don't usially get first team opportunities. It will also give Southampton problems working out what the match tactics will be as these will be players they don't normally see.

Harsh. A good pre-season by all accounts. Then a really unlucky injury at just the wrong time.

Injuries to defence concern me, especially CB and LB, and I am willing Fryers to succeed tomorrow and force his way on merit into the first XI.

Also, I think 2 of those on your subs bench are currently on the physio's bench.

I hope players like Fryers, Sako, Flamini and Wickham will get a run out.

Rather keep our first team for for Sunderland! 3 points against them is more important.

Why risk injures to our 1st team players? We learned that from last season, so we don't need a reptition. A second team will suffice for this, PL is top priority.

This, though Cabaye for Ledley if he's fit (maybe for an hour then Ledley).

Maybe Mutch for Little Ben since he played yesterday, but Little Ben on the bench.
