The performance against Stoke for me was our most comfortable performance since our return to the premier league .

This is the first time in years I can say I really like the balance in our team. Strong defenders and attackers with flair. If we can hold off on the injuries I'd put money on this being our best season ever. Keep the faith!

One comfortable win doesnt make a season. I'm not sure I agree about Kelly, whilst he's a good defender it is clear he is playing with the wrong foot, and at times yesterday he slmost got caught out. There will be better teams this season that will exploit that to its fullest and there will be many on this board that will get on his case.

I'm not sure about some of your assumptions. I think we might struggle when we reach the later stages of the Champions league next year. Early stages we'll be fine. But let's not get complacent. We have to expect the unexpected! Haven't you seen any Sylvester Stallone films?

A great result and very good team performance, though it was against a poor Stoke side.If we can keep free from injuries to key players, then we could finish above mid table. There's a long way to go and we haven't played a "top" team yet.Hopefully things are on the up this season.

I thought Benteke looked brilliant. Really agile and strong and near full fitness. He is really going to do some damage this season. He showed me today he is way more than just a goalscorer. The guy is a real team player. But the whole team were good. And then look how what we have got on the bench and in the treatment room. Our management have built us a squad to be proud of. You can all have your view on who should start when fully fit, but the options are tremendous. As an afterthought, its alarming how easily top flight players at all clubs get injured. I suppose it is due to the high levels of fitness and fine tuning of these guys bodies. Sadly enough it seems to make quite a few of them quite frail and easily injured.

On what mental planet does his performance yesterday make him better at the job than Cabaye (5th most interceptions in the league last year)? Absolute drivel.
