Before now I would have agreed Cabaye is better. But today Ledley was great. The key is Mcarthur. Good to have him back .

Seriously? Why? Cabaye has more craft, skill, vision and will play more as a play maker than Ledley. Ledley goes about his work well, but, is not a creative player. Unless I missed it, what did Ledley create today? He was steady but unspectacular, Cabaye will take us up another gear. How? When Pardew picks him
Most certainly not European. |

Ledley average? Well, he played in Euro 2016 semifinal and was a very important member of the Welsh success. That is more than good enough for me - when Cabaye fit I would like the trio of MacA/Cabaye/Ledley covering the midfield.

MacLedley was always a strong m/f partnership. Personally I'd like to try Cabaye in a CAM role and leave those two as they are. I'd stick Puncheon on the bench when Cabaye is fit, but it's a good problem to have.

Pardew will rotate his players to keep them fresh and on their toes .Cabaye brings his qualities to the side as does Ledley ,they are differet qualities but qualities all the same . Why does puncheon come into this debate though. His offensive play makes him more irreplaceable than anyone at the moment bar none .

Cabaye replaced Ledley at half time and it changed the game massively because of Cabayes ability to get the team moving forward. Ledley and Cabaye are pretty well matched defensively but Cabaye offers a dimension offensively that Ledley just doesn't have in his locker. They will all be rotated Flamini included once hes matchfit but the big games will be JMac and Cabaye if everyones 100%.
