All you want to do is run around Sullay, run, Sullay, run.
14/9 Aston Villa vs Brentford – nice one Sullay, came on for the last 15 and provided an assist for the equaliser 2 minutes from time

13/9 Bristol Rovers 1-1 Walsall – apparently Hiram looked tired after his heroics on Saturday, a little off the pace

Looks like our loanees are sharing out the plaudits

Some good news from Pards on Sullay
“He may have played a few games or have been a substitute to impact it. Let’s see what happens from now until January. If Sullay does really, really well at Brentford then I will definitely look at him for the second half of the season.”

Doesn't really give Brentford a great incentive to develop him does it? Play him and then lose him if he plays well enough - they should at least get a season out of him.

Also not to sure if Brentford will be keen on re-living the Palace 2015/2016 Season - almost enough point to be useful before Christmas, then misery for fans with hardly any points gained from then until season end.

I guess they knew that when they signed the contract

Isn't that the same with every loan signing?

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Not quite - most are generally for a season right? The parent club doesn't generally take the loanee back mid season if he's doing well. I wouldn't be too happy about that if I were the loan club.

Pards probably means he'll watch him on Channel 5.

If he's doing that well, the club would have had a Premier League standard player for half a season for free. I'm not sure they could be justified in being too upset.

I think they could because if they have a regular first 11 including kaikai, which they will if he's playing well, and lose him at Christmas, the disruption to the team will be substantial. Given the time required to bed him in they will have had him for less than half a season effectively on top of that. It would not be a good deal for them, and viewed from that standpoint, it makes sense to me why they usually have him on the bench, better to have a first 11 of permanent players.
