It seems a shame that Remy is going back to Chelsea for treatment, I would have thought that if he stayed with us he would at least bond more with his team mates. I assume he would see them on regular basis whilst getting his treatment and rehab. This way when he returns fit he will have to start again well into the season.

If you hired a car and it broke down would you return it to the hire company for repair and not pay the daily hire costs?

Professional footballers and hire cars are very different kinds of product. Contrary to what some believe, cars do not have moods, personalities and relationships.

What a silly response, we are trying to build a team and even with finance being a part of it I would think that with the money we have spent this season his treatment and wages would be minor expense in comparison.

He's gone back, because he's their player. Imagine if we treated him, and something went tits up. They treat him, we have no liability.

The reason he is back at Chelsea is proably due to the insurance that covers him for such incidents. He would have had no choice.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |
