According to the article in the Sun "Midfielder Yohan Cabaye could be out for several weeks after pulling out of the France squad with a knee injury" It doesn't say where he picked it up. Just that he's injured. Still need to sign a Creative Attacking Midfielder before the Transfer Window closes.

Sometimes fate takes a hand. Just when we thought (feared?) AP would continue putting him first on teamsheet... Praying now that we get the quality attacking midfielder that we need.

When we signed Caybye he played cam then got injured, came back as a cdm. He was so good as an attacking mid why did Pardew drop him back to a cdm? He's been terrible in this role. If we play Caybye we have to bring him back as a cam or its just a waste

He might have scored at Norwich but we were playing Cabaye and MacArthur at def mid, one of the 2 supporting attacks and Puncheon at number 10. MacArthur got injured at Christmas after us reaching 5th and then the slide happened. I think Cabaye flourishes in a settled and decent setup whilst Jedinak once up to speed was more suited to roll your sleeves up. So are Jimmac and Ledley for that matter.
