Great news that we’ve signed Remy to add to our attacking ranks, and continue to be linked to some other midfield / attacking options, but I’m growing increasingly concerned that we’ve left ourselves a bit exposed at the back.

Yes we’ve signed Steveeeee in goal (who could well be the signing of the summer) and Tomkins as a likely replacement for Delaney, but I still think we’re thin in the event of a few injuries / suspensions, particularly having lost Mariappa (released) and Hangeland go (retired).

I’d certainly like us to sign another CB and or FB (as I know has been said before), but we just don’t seem to be being linked seriously with anyone, unless I’ve missed anything.

Recently our problem has been not scoring, with a pretty solid defence. We could end up scoring a few, but suddenly having a defence without sufficient cover that begins to leak more goals than we can score.

A great transfer window so far, but it needs a couple more security locks!

Wondering if Kelly us seen as the backup CH in the event of injuries/suspensions.

Need a back-up left-back and centre-back or injuries could put us in deep trouble.

He's pretty much the backup for any defensive position at the moment.

Agree - if Dann picked up a lengthy injury then we could be really stretched. Yes Tomkins and Delaney in the centre, but getting very thin, particularly as Delaney never seems to far from a suspension.

Not sure Kelly, DD and Fryers are enough back-up for the next 4 months, whereas I think the midfield isn't too bad, recognising we do need a AM / No10 to try and link back to front.

I think we need more than backup we need fullbacks better than those we have. Souare is an unbelievable crosser but is rash. Ward is the weakest player in the 11 and has no positional sense. Kelly is cover at fullback that's it and fryers hasn't made the squad in a long time because he is so poor.

One injury and a couple of suspensions and we will be leaking goals.
