Absolute rubbish.

He did the right thing in getting rid of the following players.

Jedinak
Great leader and servant to the club but when we have a fully strength side out, he only makes the bench. 4 million for him was good business.

Bolasie
Absolutely loved the bloke, on his day unplayable, however that is about 1 in 5 games. 28 million for him, great deal for us.

Gayle
10 million is good money for him, and we need a different class of player I.e Benteke to progress.

Granted Pards has made some dodgy decisions in the transfer market, with Mutch being a prime example; however since pards has been here we have signed class players like Cabaye, Mandanda, Benteke and Townsend. This would never of happened under previous managers.

Our current form this calendar year is woeful, however I fully expect super Al to turn it around and have a credible top half finish. Time to get behind the famous red and blue, starting with a win tomorrow.

Super Alan Pardew.

Last of the optimists pal !

I agree with your assessment of our sales.

& I agree that on paper some of the signings are
definitely a cut above

But I have less faith in Pardew's tactical nous &
think he's a upper middle championship level
manager who's been worked out.

I really hope you're right & I'm wrong

AP has been backed to the hilt in this window and for me some very very good business done. Now the pressure is really on AP so lets see what happens, me for one wishes him all the very best as I want Palace up there!!

No manager gets every transfer correct.

Strongly disagree with the treatment and sale of Jedi though, is having someone like him around the dressing room worth more than £4m? I'd say so, and it's not as if he was a far inferior back up player.

Well yes, good sales and good business. BUT neither Jedi nor Bolasie have been replaced yet nd time's running out

Couldn't agree more an iconic club captain shown the door for a pittance no replacement as in Murray's case SP how could you just go on getting it wrong.

It was the Treatment of Jedinak which was so terrible & an example of
really poor quality man - management.

I think the price justified the sale

But over all his treatment of Henessey this time last year, Murray, Gayle, Jedinak, Millen ?,Chungy? belies the man.

The rap sheet of piss poor management gets ever longer, our team spirit gets ever lower.

& there's the premiership manager who texted the model about "boring training sessions" - absolutely no proof it's Pardew of course!!!

As much as we all love him Jedinak was not the top class player we need in midfield and how is £4m for an average 32 year old prem player a pittance? And before you say about replacements we're still inside the transfer window.

.

Absolutely not the case. I love the Jedi, but he probably wanted to play every week, and nobody is now gaurenteed a place anymore. Murray has more than been replaced. And SP has rarely got anything wrong. 2010 to now.

I remember when all my favourite Palace players left on a free (or not much more). We are selling players for millions now! Ok, so I don't want us to become a money making turnstyle for talent, but at least we're generating transfer fees for players that are leaving.

Slate me all you want, but I think we were overpaid for Jedinak, Gayle and Bolasie (although perhaps less so with the inflation in overall transfer fees this year).

But sometimes it comes down to more than just footballing ability, and people are going on as if he dropped to the standard of a conference player.

Pards assessment of Jedi was spot on. He said that he is not a sub and is not a squad player, he is a starter and at 32 and with his powers diminishing he could not guarantee that
