Could be a good replacement for Bolasie. A very similar player to him. He is a better crosser of the ball then Yannick, skillful, pacey, and scores goals. If Bolasie does go then I would like us to sign Benteke, Sakho, and Adomah. Thoughts? Attachment: Albert+Adomah+Middlesbrough+v+Derby+County+FT84IE7w5RBl.jpg (80.25Kb)

FFS wasn't Adomah rated at something like £900k or £1.1 milat the end of the season before we bought Bolasie for £300k in August and Adomah has done what since? He did feck all for a long time after that. I seem to remember Adomah playing for Briatol City a few weeks after our rumoured interest in him and he hardly went near our penalty box, and I'm not exaggerating. FFS we need to be looking at players some respected performance and potential, not maybe good for a championship promotion challenge. Edited by Rudi Hedman (14 Aug 2016 12.41am)

Adomah was keeping Bolasie out the Bristol City side in 2011-12. At the time the transfer rumors were that Palace were looking at a Bristol City winger and it was widely believed this was Adomah. It was a surprise when we bought his understudy Bolasie with many questioning why we had bought a player who could not cement a place in the Bristol City team. Adomah is very one dimensional and very direct, quite strong and runs with the ball often but not blessed with a lot of skill, relies on power rather than technique. More in the Sako mold than the Zaha/Bolasie mold. Edited by Mwncisee (14 Aug 2016 11.37am)

Didn't like being linked with us when it became known we were scouting wingers at Bristol City. "sideways move" or something, was his reaction IIRC? 95 thousand reasons a week to regret that. Not good enough for us these days.

It was Steve Coppell who signed Adomah for Bristol C from Barnet. If I remember correctly the fee was a max of £350K + Barnet receive 20% profit on any profit from a sale. Edited by Willo (15 Aug 2016 7.41pm)
